About this Collection

BOMA BESt (Building Environmental Standards) is a program created to address a need for realistic standards for energy and environmental performance of existing buildings. Designed in 2005, it is entirely voluntary and designed to assess environmental performance and management of existing buildings. BOMA BESt® is the only assessment and certification program of its kind for commercial buildings in Canada.
